The River of Lights

Last week we went to the River of Lights at the Bio Park in downtown Albuquerque. It was a great family outing. Last year, I took Lexi to go see lights when we were in Washington and she seemed to like it, well this year she loved it! The lights were really impressive and we were really impressed with the botanic gardens itself and really want to go back in the spring. Here are a few pictures from the night...

Our friend Emily and her son Folken came with us. Aren't the babies cute together?
(Avery is just a few weeks older.)
Lexi just wanted to run around and touch every single light.
Avery was amazing the whole time (like usual). She just sat in her stroller and never fussed once!
There was a really cool castle. It would be a lot of fun to go play in this in the summer.
Here is a picture of Emily and I walking inside the castle.
There was an area of giant insects and plants (carrots, radish, potato, etc).
Here we are getting a family picture with a giant potato.
And here is Sean coming out of an egg.
And of course, there were lots of lights...

It was such a fun night (Lexi keeps talking about it) and it is definitely a new family tradition for us.
